This Python script leverages PIL and EasyGUI to compress image files.Users select image, specify quality for JPEGs, compresses PNGs to 256-color palette. The compressed image is saved in the same folder with "_compressed" appended to the filename. The script handles invalid file types and provides user feedback through message boxes.
