This project implements an 8-bit mini-float adder in VHDL, handling floating-point arithmetic, including edge cases, normalization, and rounding. Simulated in ModelSim and tested on the Altera DE1-SoC board, it accurately performs floating-point additions with real-time results displayed on 7-segment LEDs.
