The P2MM Server Plugin but a version for the 2.2.0 P2MM Release. This version will be more a preview of what will be in 3.0 as the main purpose for using this newer version is to take advantage of the new runtime patching and encryption. This new plugin also has new patches to fix server passwords, crashes, and add new features.
