This is a backend heavy chat application that deals with user authentication (that sets up refresh tokens that sets up access tokens that gets stored in the cookie). The backend also deals with web sockets that will be responsible for upgrading the HTTP connection to WebSocket connection and then the client can send messages via the wss server.
