Testing the speed and performance of different methods to fill a buffer with a repeating pattern of N bytes. I was surprised to find that filling a 3840x2160x3 buffer with a 24bit color took 17ms (Less than 60fps) in ABS-Fractal-Explorer, so I set out to find a faster algorithm.
