SIP is a "Simple Imperative Programming" language first developed by Anders Miller and Michael I. Schwartzbach as TIP, or Tiny Imperative Language, for graduate instruction at Aarhus University. It was then enhanced into SIP by Sebastian Fugle and Charlotte Miller for UVA's Fall 2023 CS 4620 course under Professor Dwyer.
